Bacterial/viral filter: filters the inspired air and protects the patients and the ventilator circuit or anesthesia circuit from contamination.
Bacterial filters are manufactured in a lightweight transparent housing material of pleated filter which helps allow patient secretions or abnormal condensation to be easily seen with standard airways, ventilation circuit connectors, and CO2 sampling ports.
Intended Use
Filters are added to the breathing systems in order to provide bacterial/viral filtration and/or humidification to the patient, ideal for ICU and anesthesia use.
