General Description
The catheter can be used for nephrostomy, abscess, and other multipurpose drainage applications. Catheter placement is performed using single step or Seldinger technique.
The easy-to-use, reliable safety string lock system provides strong fixation of the pigtail while maintaining patient comfort.
Hydrophilic coating, when activated, becomes very lubricous and reduces greatly the coefficient of friction. The decreased friction of the distal skived catheter tip facilitates catheter introduction.
Intended Use
Intended to be used for percutaneous drainage of fluid collections in the urinary systems. Surgically short term use.
