Tracheostomy Tube Inner

Tracheostomy tubes are intended for use in providing direct trachea access for airway management to help the patient to breath.

Consists of:

  • 15 mm connector that can be rotated 360 degrees & facilitates a safe connection to the breathing system from any direction
  • Tape attachment
  • Flange that helps secure and stabilize the tracheostomy tube to the neck by using neck straps. For ease of insertion, it is supplied with an obturator
  • Shaft: is arch shaped and with either a single cannula or dual cannula
  • Cuff: to provide an airtight seal facilitating positive pressure ventilation and reducing the risk of aspiration
  • Distal tip
  • Cuff inflation line
  • Pilot balloon
  • 1-way valve

Intended Use

A Tracheostomy tube is inserted via an opening created at the front of the neck then into the windpipe (Trachea) to help the patient to breath.

Please note that this device shall only be used by a well-trained and qualified healthcare person or under supervision of a physician in hospital or clinical settings.
