General Description
Urine collection bags are designed to collect urine drained from the bladder via a catheter or sheath. They may also be attached to some types of hand-held urinal to provide additional containment.
A sterile product for single use: For short and long term urine collection. This product is for clean single hand operation and allows efficient emptying of the bag.
Types:
1- Body-worn bags are usually worn under clothes and secured to the thigh or lower leg with straps or a support garment.
2- Large capacity bags are supported on a stand either on a bed side or the floor.
Intended Use
Urine drainage bags collect urine, Product attaches to a catheter (tube) that is inside your bladder. Patient may have a catheter and urine drainage bag because of urinary incontinence (leakage), urinary retention (not being able to urinate), surgery that made a catheter necessary, or another health problem.
Please note that this device shall only be used by a well-trained and qualified healthcare person or under supervision of a physician in hospital or clinical settings.
